TETRA (Terrestrial Trunked Radio) is a digital communication standard designed to provide secure, efficient, and flexible two-way radio communication. Using time-division multiple access (TDMA) technology, TETRA allows four simultaneous user channels per 25 kHz carrier, enabling efficient spectrum use. It supports both point-to-point and group communications, as well as low-rate digital data transmission—making it ideal for voice-centric and data-assisted mission-critical applications.
